A horrid tummy bug did not stop three-year-old Katie Garlick from going out to build her snowman at Manapouri.

Edwin Nicholson, aged 12, of Manapouri, modelled his snowman on Davros, the evil creator of the Daleks in Dr Who. It has a mannequin head and the rest is created out of snow.
