Fiordland Moose Cam 2010

E-mail Print

Ken Tustin has had motion detector cameras setup in the Fiordland National Park area for many years in the hope of capturing an image of the elusive fiordland moose. The days of film meant he had to wait weeks before he could browse the results of his efforts. Nowadays digital cameras mean he doesn't need a third party to develop them and can instead take them straight home and see the results instantly.

The digital camera also seem to give a better quality of photo but have there own caveats, including no resistance to wet weather conditions, and the use of more power.
